Myn’s Warm ROM Brought to Evo 3D

If any of you have ever owned an HTC Evo 3D or an HTC Evo 4G and are in to getting under the hood of those phones, then you know Myn's ROM.  He is one of the best Sense Developers if not THE best sense developer (IMO) on XDA.  I've enjoyed many of hours playing with his ROM's, tweaks and mods on my HTC Evo 4G.  Now he has a sandbox in the Evo 3D section?  Buckle your seatbelt folks!  This team is amazing and nothing short of perfection.  I did read in the XDA thread that he will be bouncing back and forth between his OG Evo and his Evo 3D....  So we'll be having Myn's love for both phones.  Great news for my household!  My wife has his work on her Evo 4G and my daughter has his work on her Evo 3D.

It’s rare when a ROM is so popular, the number of thread views are almost equal to the total number of members on XDA. As is the case with the original Warm ROM TwoPointTwo. One of the most popular of all time for those toting the HTC Evo 4g.
Now those who have migrated to the HTC Evo 3D, you can once again get a taste what is arguably XDA Recognized Developer (and all around good guy) Myn’s greatest work thanks to the work of fellow XDA Recognized Developer JoelZ9614 and the rest of Team Warm.
The sexy, lightly themed and totally awesome ROM has received a bunch of upgrades from it’s last public release on an Evo device beginning with going from Froyo 2.2 to Gingerbread 2.3 and including:
Added GPU UI Acceleration (instead of CPU)
Added Additional Reboot options (Recovery, Bootloader, Hot Restart, Reboot) (NOTE: Hot Restart currently not working properly)
Added DSP Manager (Thanks cyanogen)
Added CRT TV shutdown animation
Added HW Acceleration Tweak To Adreno_config
Added SMS Backup/Restore
Added Tweak to increase sdcard read ahead buffer (Thanks Misfit)
Added 3D Home Screen (Toggable in Settings | Warm Tweaks)
Added Native Screenshot Functionality (Press Home + Power at the same time)
Added Zeus Mods [kinda] Quick Settings
Changed WiFi Scan Interval To 180 seconds to further conserve battery
Added Tweak to persist home app in memory
Added various battery tweaks
So for those who want the good old feel and look of the original Warm ROM, you can head on over to the original thread for download links, installation instructions, a full change log and all the Warm goodness those from the HTC Evo 4g remember.
Thanks XDA!

Flashaholics app of the year - Boot Manager

Those of you that are flashing maniacs and would love to have five of your favorite roms at your finger tips and access them by a simple reboot of your phone, Boot Manager is your friend.

Boot Manager is the first Android Multi-Booter Application! The application installs up to four ROMs to your sdcard and you can keep one on your phone as well to allow you to boot up to five ROMs and switch between them with just a reboot. This is the must have application for any flashaholic and will finally allow you to keep up with those nightly builds we have all come to love or just boot your favorite ROMs from your favorite developers. The application is great for developers as well since you now have 5 slots for testing ROMs.
The application acts as your recovery for the four sdcard slots. Install your kernels, theme, and ROMs all through the app and use your normal recovery for your phone ROM.
Root & S-Off Required.
Current Supported Devices
Motorola Droid 1
HTC Incredible 1
HTC Thunderbolt
HTC Desire Z
HTC G2(aka Vision)
HTC EVO 4G
HTC Inspire4g
HTC Desire
HTC Desire HD
HTC MyTouch 4G
HTC Nexus One
Htc Evo 3D
Htc Sensation
Htc Incredible 2
Htc Incredible S
Htc Desire S
Droid X purchased (2nd init devices coming soon)

In other words, you have five ROM's you have access to.  Your main ROM is your "phone ROM", this is the ROM that is running on your phone (cm7 in my case).  The other four ROM's are stored on your SD card and run off the SD card.  Once you have setup your phone ROM (the main ROM) and put your favorite ROM's (from your SD card)   in the four empty ROM slots your ready to bounce from ROM to ROM with the simple click of a button and reboot of the phone.
I currently have Cyanogenmod 7 as my phone ROM, MIUI in ROM slot 1, viperROM RC in ROM slot 2, InfectedROM Eternity in ROM slot 3, and SteelROM v2.61 in ROM slot 4.  I have to warn you that the four back up ROM's you've created with this app are at least 2g each, so you may want to only have one or two back up ROM's unless you have a 16g SD card or bigger.
This is very handy if you want to update your PRL, get a quick GPS lock if you're on an AOSP ROM or just want another reason to show all your iPhoney friends one more reason Android smokes Apple.
As always do a nandroid before you play with any of these kind of apps.
Also..... I'm not responsible if this app bricks your phone, borks ANYTHING on your phone, causes your wife or girlfriend to cheat on you, your dog seeing this app and can't stop humping your leg or anything else bad that may happen from using this app. None of those should happen.....  well maybe the dog part. :)
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
